Escape Pod 2's have a pull down double bed, shower room, kitchen and french windows to a deck with views to Dartmoor and Cox Tor. Ideal for short breaks for two.

We have two Escape Pod 2s - 'Bedford Lodge' (Dog Free) & 'Drake Lodge' (Dog Friendly) - both sleep up to two adults. 

There is a landscaped separate area of the park to the front and side of these lodges that includes a BBQ patio and outdoor seating and in 2020 we added two new Escape Pod 2+s ('Mayflower Lodge' and 'Edgecumbe Lodge') - you can find these elsewhere on our website.

The Escape Pod 2s are amazing spaces and, like The Doctor's Time Machine, are a really efficient use of the 140 sq. ft. inside space that includes a studio bedroom/lounge, shower room and kitchen area.  For 2021 bedding & towels is included in the accommodation price.

Each Escape Pod has:

• a clever fold away bed / settee

• a fully fitted shower room with shower

• sink and toilet 

• a gas hob, kitchen equipment, kettle, toaster and microwave oven  

The lounge space has:

• a Smart TV

• bluetooth music system  

•  Patio doors leading onto a deck with outdoor bistro furniture and views towards Dartmoor and Cox Tor  

Available for short stays, the studio lodges are very popular with guests.  They are priced around the same as a night in a budget hotel – but with scenery that is priceless!

Drake Lodge is a pet friendly unit - enabling you to bring your four legged friend on holiday with you. (Please note that dogs MUST NOT be left unattended in the unit and must be kept on a lead at all times while on the Park).

Check-in - after 4.00 p.m. on arrival day.

Check-out - by 10.00 a.m. on departure day. No arrivals after 8.00 p.m.
