EV Chargers

There are two 32 Amp / 7.2kW 'Project EV' Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Points in the Main Car Park near Park Reception.  Harford House - our holiday cottage - has a dedicated EV Charger for guest use.

The chargers accept a Type 2 Charging cable plug which you will need to have to connect to our charger. We do not have charging cables for hire.

If you need to charge your EV, one of our charge points will be assigned to you for immediate use after we have switched on the charger remotely.  After your charging session we will provide a meter reading and request payment at the Shop / Reception.

Important

  • It is not safe to charge an EV from a park Electrical Hook-Up (EHU).
  • It is unfair use of park electricity to charge EVs usiing EHU.
  • If unfair use comes to our attention, we will raise a charge of £35.00 for electricity and ask the pitch occupier to move the vehicle to an EV Charge Point if further charging is necessary.

Payment

Payment is taken at Park Reception and a charging point will be assigned to you.

Park your vehicle in the bay nearest the charger you have been assigned (see image below).

The cost per kWh is 80p including VAT @ 20%.
